One of my best friends, Kali. She was killed in a car wreck on July 18th, 2011. That was my 18th birthday. She was driving home from my party. (It wasn’t a drinking or smoking party. It was a cake eating, Rugrats watching, birthday party). I don’t know how long it takes to get over a death. It’s been 7 months to this date, and I still think about her every day. And I still have the fear someone else in my life will die. I miss you so much Kali and I hope they have Tumblr in heaven.

Justin is finally hitting the big 18 ! For us beliebers, new or old, its a big day… we slowly let go of the kid and welcome the mature adult Bieber. We obviously all treated him as an adult and supported him as well but tomorrow at 12:56am marks the exact moment history changed. Pattie welcomed a prodigy into the world and she didn’t even know it. The birth of her son, Justin Drew Bieber, was monumental. He would change lives, save people from taking their lives, make us girls feel special, teach us dreams come true if you work hard and just show that no matter who you are, where you live, or how much money you have, the world is your play ground and to dream big because you can achieve anything. So at 12:56am not only will I thank God for blessing the world with such a creative, and major talent, but I will thank him for giving us all a sign that we shouldn’t ever give up. At 12:56am I will wish Justin Bieber, my idol, whom I have never met but feel so close to, a Happy Birthday and the best wishes to every dream he wants to pursue because I will be there to support him. With the words Happy Birthday we will let go of that young boy on Youtube and welcome a grown up version of that boy. We will accept the man that boy has become. It may sound dramatic, but every belieber out there understands this post, and agrees. We all have only just begun this journey with Justin, and I can say with the utter most honesty, I cannot wait to see what he’s accomplished on his twenty fifth birthday and many more after that. 
So here’s to Justin, who means so much to so many,
Happy 18th Birthday.
